1978/79 style high pinion 60, 4.10s open, all new kingpin stuff, crossover arm and draglink, Blackbirds 3/4 ton brake brackets, brand new rotors, u-joints, calipers/pins and higher end pads. Single wheel not dually. Has 78/79 style lockouts that work great, color has faded tho.

Axle was completely disassembled, some parts blasted others wire wheeled, but everything was painted with POR-15 then painted black. Knuckles and some other parts painted hammertone for a different look. Still has the 1 ton rotors, get calipers and pads and run as is.

Axle is pretty much ready to go. Wheel bearings and kingpins will need grease, put a lite coat when assembling. I can ship...pics in my sig....REALLY want to sell it!!!

Forgot I had a set of Ford shock towers and the plates that go on top of the springs.

Never heard of a 78 or 79 Ford high pinion 60??? They have the same or close enough perch width to bolt into a GM....

It's not really bolt in, but it's for newer driver side GM trucks, it's the one width they need to make it work.:D
It's true if it was on the west coast it would have sold a long time ago.
I know prices went down a bit but they were selling quick anywhere between $1200 and $1500

you got some balls new guy ION  acting like this . unless your just kidding.

it will bolt in to a gm solid axle and work if you run a ford or 88-up ifs tcase with drivers drop. as thay use the same spring pad width as our trucks.

also as said used for 88-up solid axle swap kits so you dont have to swap out to a pass side tcase.

reason some guys run them in 73-87 is high pinion housing or got a smokin deal on a doubler kit with ford case.

Forgot what a PITA it was if the membership expired.

No, I'm not a ****!n tool, I know what axle is what drop. Saying that the axle is a bolt in is a little misleading, just saying that these axles will physically bolt in to GM trucks. Any idiot should know that you need to swap the t-case over to driver drop. Everything else should work, breaks, steering, etc.

If your doing an SAS on an IFS truck, this is a nice axle to have. Won't have to change the t-case, springs are narrow so if running big tires they won't hit on full lock.

I like the new kid beat down going on here :D. I read the ad and understood what it meant. If you are new and don't understand, search or ask questions about it but show a little respect in the process. :waytogo:
