78 Blazer Buildup by Shaffers Offroad

That's a completely badass build! Well thought out (and expensive) for real usage... Isn't mc hammer from oakland? Must be cuttin costs to move to that $hithole.

Dayumn Scott, he couldn't afford the good life anymore hahaha?

After he built his $20,000,000 home on the Mission Peak hills here in Fremont he ended up having to sell the house and only got $12,000,000 then IIRC ended up filing bankrupt and moved to Tracy.

He learned damn quick that you can't support all of your friends forever. He had just about all of his close friends on payroll which soaked up ALOT of his cash.

I'm thinking thats just in tube, frame and labor work. Just the shop work, and not parts too.

This build is looking great. Now that Shaffers has moved into my neck of the woods in Oakland (20 minutes away from me) I might have to go check it out in person.

I'm surprised they move to California. Even though they could get more business, I heard all that extra profit end up going to taxes and fees.

Naked, should be all put together next friday..

Nice! :D
When are you going to try to break it? We need vids!

Need 500 "easy" miles on the gear sets before getting too crazy. Hoping to take it on a short trail next week.

I here yah...

It looks like you can do some damage with that sucka! :waytogo:

This rig is just sick. Glad to finally see it moving under it's own power.

just nominated you for gm of the month!!! this is by far one of the sweetest builds i have seen on this site

Finished by Steve Springborn since Shaffer's moved to Oakland mid-build.
