White wheel = hubcaps.

Yeah, it's not exactly like cracking the DaVinci Code. :haha:

-G

:D correct! I wanted 17" steel wheels to do this with but the only ones I could find had too much back spacing. so then this idea was born. The OEM steelies have 4 "cooling slots" for the brakes and these alloy wheels have 6. not perfect but as close as it gets. Most of them will be covered by the adapter plate and the hub cap anyways. ;)

been wanting to do this for so long... we´ll see how it does look when done...

I'm just curious to see how it's going toend up looki ng!

Hopefully good and sleeper like. Working on the adapter plates now. We´ll see how factory I can make it look! ;)

the 37´s fit great in the rear...

but the front needs some fender mods bad. I can only turn the wheels when the fender goes between the tread blocks! ;)

starting to build a rear bumper from scratch...

this ist what the bumper looks like on the truck, just tacked in....

it still needs lights, trailer plug, etc, but the basic shape looks pretty good and old school, I think.

Truck looks great! Shocked to see you were from maine. I may try to pick your brain for my ls swap.

I like it! Goes great with the wheels and tires too!

Thanks. The theme is coming together pretty good. I´ll have more updates in a few weeks.

Shocked? HAHA, let me guess you thought the truck was from CA or AZ? ;)
Sure, if you have any questions on the LS swap, just ask. ;)

Here is the new (temporary) fuel filler inside the bed. I´ll add a fuel door to the back end of the bed sometime in the future.

This is what she looks like now...

Awesome truck with a ton of impressive work put into it. Subscribed to watch what's next!

Did some more work on the bumper.

Finnished the lisence plate area:

And the end caps on both sides:

recovery points welded in:

just some more shots on the truck:

with the cut outs for the BD SII flush mount flood lights:

I think it´ll look pretty good when smoothed out and powdercoated:

Also finally got the Dodge e-brake cables to work. But I don´t like how low they hang. It´ll do for now but I have to think about sth else!

And the front shaft finally clears the reworked exhaust on the passenger side! ;)
