oh and if something works for me out the gate...something is wrong. if things take time and pulled apart many times..or blooodied knuckles..things will work great. thats my luck

went back to u pull it. bought the rear wiring.. so gotta put it in. $25...
it also has optional 4 plug trailer harness... sweet
now i gotta remember who wanted the floor vent pull handles. got em for them...

removed old 78 tail wiring
and installed newer 80s weather pack style and has trailer wiring. one wire is disconnected so will figure out later...

might be the plate light wire .
from stock harness.. brown wires are for tag light... i know that cuz i cut them lol
just searched... ground...
figured so as its more bare and not stuck in plastic so this pic is weird as groumd is protected and all hot wires exposed..hah

so..wasnt bad.. 1978 portion valve didnt die but they say do rear disc and swap it. So pissed with all issues..
4 of 5 lines broke free.. 5th stripped.. cut it off
then shit in my eyes..mouth..shirt..ear... down arms...ughhh
no time to bleed. she be in. bleed tmorrow and hopefully try this weekend with disc/disc....

body lift under bed. gotta move my son but hopefully this week get cab and front clip done...
People will probably wonder why you just raised the bed. Haha!
Why the body lift at all? Are you going to bigger tires?
that's the plan.. well 2 reasons.. up front I'm tired of trimming the bushwacker cutouts as my 6" leafs are so flexy I can tuff my tires and ripping the flares off.. no I'm not getting rid of them...
so yes.. add 3" bl with hopes someday to run 42s - 44s.. 44 boggers preferred.... need to do bump stop lower brackets...
I ran a 3: bl with 33s for years when I first started driving and it held up just fine... and with the tube bumpers, it doesn't look as bad. esp front.. my high beams are actually lower than the bumper so will actually bring it up higher and look better
3in bl on.. next up.. but not today.. bolt cab/clip down... hookup and bleed hydro clutch ( gotta extend line)... bleed brakes and put ord steering brace back on...
then paint truck blue... gas tank black.. and paint/install moon visor...
so jeep steering shaft only move about 1-1.5in.. so its good too..
now tailgate doesnt hit bumper and high beams above bumper

i didnt need to lengthen my hydro clutch line with a 2" body lift . few tweeks and she was good . and mine was a k30 truck so taller frame .
interesting. ill look to see if i can reroute it.
fyi there metric bubble flair if you do need to strech it .
yeah bought 12mm and 8in adapter... its too long and i dont wanna flare it but may.
tweaked and worked for 3in!!!
need to get 2 more bolts... 2 body mounts from junkyard.. 1 all messed up and another missing!!!

so I went to the u pull it today and they have the newer (1980s) trucks and I took 3 under frame body mounts as I have 1 missing and 1 beat up. They seem to be wrong...
so im guessing these are the ones I need? ordering but just confirming. I do have these up front so im assuming so....
