78 to fuel injection?

Just bought a 78 K5 that runs decent, but it has a worn-out two barrel carb. The motor runs okay, but will eventually need a rebuild. Should I go a head and buy an intake and a 4 barrel carb for it or would it be better to put a TBI 350 from an 89 suburban in it (how difficult is this). I can buy the suburban for $1500 and also use its front clip. Then part out the rest. The guy says the motor is perfect. What should I do?

TBI is easy to retrofit, I say do it.

TBI or TPI. Its not too hard. If you can do basic repairs to your truck you can do it. Research and reading will pay off.
