I was planning on going with a different rim size when I got new tires, but these came along... So now I'm gonna go ahead and beadlock the 15s...

I've been staring at my tire groover a lot over the last few days...:D

Im really thinking about grooving my LTB's too! I'll have to do some research on that. They work really well as is, but Im sure there is room for improvement.

Thanks...

The green is the same color I painted the Blazer...

Krylon Italian Olive Satin...

I didn't want to go with a flat because it's harder to clean...

Seems like it absorbs everything...

And gloss was completely out of the question...

Looks bad @ss man! Looks like your fender tube will prevent too too much uptravel on its own. :waytogo:

i see now.it looked like that cause the flat look.i thought you hadnt painted it yet.your truck is freekin awesome dood.i cant wait to get mine outa the garage now that its warm.

OK... Drove up the ramp until the tire that's stuffed started to get into sh!t... Took some measurements for the bump stops...

Once I get the bump stops in, I should be able to max out the ramp... It's still got a lot of droop left...

With it on the bump stops, the springs will be flat and I'll still have about an inch of up travel left on the shocks...

I'm sure I'll find some things that may have to get a little massage to keep the tires from getting into it...

What types of bumps are you going to use?

Reason I ask is they all squish a bit and if you can keep your springs from going into negative arch they will last longer.

Looks real good buddy, I think I may have to find some old crappy doors to cut out the skins to put on my door opening. Really brings the whole rig together

Not sure yet... Gonna source something that is free or cheap... That's my style...:D

Might hit up Pull-a-Part and look around...

I'm planning on setting them up so the hit about an inch before the springs go flat...

The door thing gets a lot of attention... Everyone loves the step pockets... Makes it real easy getting in and out... Been thinking about using some old tow straps and making grab handles for the inside of the cage...

I used 2x2 .120 wall and lowered my stock bumps. Like Eric said they squish some. I have a bit more shock showing with my springs flat so i just set them there. Im sure there are pics in my build somewhere. If ya cant find them let me know and Ill get some for ya!

Look for late model Chevy silverados, and I think Nissan xterras. They have kind of a progressive bump stop.

They are mo better than just a normal bumpstop.

I think there are a couple more than just those that have them now but thats what I have seen them on

It seems they squish about an inch
