79 k5 cab off

I possibly will be purchasing a 79 k5 blazer with alot of rust. I am wanting to switch bodies with a 2wd blazer. Will there be any problems i might run into with one being 4x4 and the other 2wd? Also can anyone tell me what all needs to be removed to do this. I will be doing this at a buddies shop with 2 2post lifts.

The only problem that could be is if the blazer 2wd is the newer body, some don't have the removable hump for the tranny inspection.
Otherwise it should be fine.
Especially with post lifts.
We did it with 6 arm pair lift.
