8.1L vortec, missing emission pieces

Hi All,
I know it seems silly but I’m putting an 8.1 vortec into my 91 crew and I want to put all the emissions stuff back on. Does anyone have a good source or location for hard to find parts? Appreciate it.

I hate to recommend Facebook, but there is an active 8.1L group there that is often exchanging parts. I assume you've tried eBay.
 
Yes I’ve tried eBay and my buddy is on the Facebook group. No luck so far. Appreciate the ideas, have a great week.
 
Salvage yards might be a good bet. Many of them use online inventory systems these days and will ship parts. Doesn't have to be local for smaller stuff.
 
Maybe post up specifics in the parts wanted section here. We have a lot of members transplanting 8.1s and may have spares.
 
So I have 01 8.1, and my plan is to remove the egr and air injection section, how fast do you need to do this?
 
Wes, I’m not in any hurry. Plan is to do the swap to 4wd then get the 8.1 in there. That would be amazing if you’re looking to get rid of that stuff, I’d gladly help out.

If have delete plates, I could use those save me from making. Your donor have factory exhaust manifolds ?
 
My 8.1 didn’t come with any of that. PO had rape across the EGR, manifold was cut and welded, and the purge valve is in place but all the other emissions stuff is missing.
 
Ok, I may need to do more homework. Even my original manifolds only supplied to the one side.
 
may be a difference in year or fed/ca emissions. My truck is definitely Ca emissions
 
Really appreciate the help guys. Joshuak, I pretty much need the EGR with cooler, and all the line and pieces from the purge valve. I’m new to the 8.1 so I know I’m missing more than I realize. If I need to start with all the emissions stuff then so be it. Northern Colorado is emissions and they’re very anal with the inspection.

I'll take some pics this evening. It's off a high mileage but running motor, so I assume it works.

If you want it, it's yours for price of shipping and a build thread (at least pictures, lol). Sounds like you got a fun project. Would be cool to follow along.
