Im having trouble finding a place I can buy a set of Tuff Country 8 inch lift front springs for my 73 3/4 ton. Does anyone know of a place that sells them? Also, anyone that has run an 8 inch lift, do you think ill need a longer driveshaft? Im pretty sure I will. How much would it cost me to get my driveshaft lengthened? /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Have you given ORD a call? they would probablly have them

Ok so if Tuff Country doesnt make 8 inch springs then what brand should I go with, I really like my Tuff Country ez ride springs, I hate to buy another brand and hate them.

I have a set of brand new super lift 8" front springs /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
I have a 6" lift on my sub and had to lengthen the shaft

One option is to go 6" + ORD Zero Rates and ORD 1" body lift. Or you can trim your fenders, or a 2" body lift, or ...... well, there's still alot of options.

use 4" lift rear springs
move front hanger
and long shackles to clear the frame

I think I like Skyjacker im pretty sure thats who im going with. Does Skyjacker sell heavy duty springs and softride like most companies? I want heavier duty springs this time because my ez ride springs have sagged way too much for only a year of use. I think im going with a 9 inch front/8 inch rear lift now but if not then just 8 at both ends. My plan was to get the 8 inch front springs and a zero rate add a leaf maybe for the front. And get the shackle reversal kit to replace my 4 inch blocks and add 2 more add a leafs for the back. Is it okay to have 2 add a leafs other than a rougher ride? It rides like a true 1 ton truck should already anyway so I dont care about that.

no one makes a proper 8" lift spring for the front of these trucks that I am aware of

research the 52" rear spring in front swap on this site, it is the way to go when coupled with longer shackles
