Honestly I don't remember where the header stopped & the exaust started on the truck. I will probably have to adjust fire once I get into it, IF I use the headers.

Do some measuring, IMO you're creating a lot more work trying to use long tubes.

Agreed. I'm using shorties (454) with a turn running under / between the oil pan and bellhousing, there's no way I could have made that turn with long tubes.

I don't want to use thoes stupid cheapass rusty headers anyway. Besides I have dreaded removing my exaust manifolds.

If they are old and cheap, I would skip using them.

Got the correct Flowmaster Y-pipe for the size exaust coming off my manifolds. Going to skip headers. Thinking about paint. This is option #1. NewHolland blue base with black inserts. Hood inside body line will be flat black also.

Man, that tent pic makes it look sooo much better than the other pics I've seen, looks like bigger tires. It's a camera illusion but it looks a hair longer than in other pics, I like that mo better.
