now is 8x6.5 the right bolt circle?
and am i gonna have to do alot of grindin with the 3.5in. backspace???
if anyone can help me plz
thank you

correct bolt pattern
only time will tell how much grinding, if any, it will need. Take you time and make sure you only take what you have to. And don't get into the important areas of the caliper lol

You'll likely have to do some grinding on the front. If you are swapping on the larger rotors that come on some 3/4 and 1 tons, you almost certainly will. It's really not a big deal, and doesn't affect the functionality of the caliper. I had to do a bit on mine, they were 15x7 with similar backspacing and the JB7 brakes.

8x6.5 is correct.

I already had 35's on 15" rims when I did my dana 60 swap. I ran 4" backspacing and ran 2.5" spacers in the front and 3" in the rear. I would have had to grind a lot if I did not run the spacers. When these tires go out, I will probably upgrade to 37's with a 16.5" rim and 2" of backspacing. Spacers are cheap and easy. All 4 cost me like $80.

Are you just going to an 8-lug 10-bolt or Dana 44, or are you going to a D60?

I originally went to an 8-lug 10-bolt with 15" wheels with 4.25" BS. They took a decent amount of grinding but I didn't think it was that bad. A 3.5" BS wheel shouldn't be too bad at all.

My current D60 uses 15" wheels with 2.75" BS and required about 1 minute of grinding per side...mainly just smoothing out the casting flash on the D60 calipers.
