Worked on the cutting brakes a little bit last night but ended up not having the right fitting.

Got to play with the new brake line flaring tool and all I can say is awesome! Done 3 or 4 crimps now and they look as good as any factor crimp.

looks good..

did you get the hydro one?

once you use it, your like "I can't believe I used that mechanical cr@parse setup for yrs!" :haha:

That's the tool I have. Love it! BTW, that's the die pieces I was asking if you could copy. Damn USPS lost half of two of my dies...

They said they won't sell just the dies, only the whole kit. I'm not that worried about it right now, but it's kinda annoying not having the use of two of the dies. I'll try them again though, I last asked them about two years ago.

Yeah, that's a bunch of crap.

"Swooshy" covers happened a few months back. Didn't post pics because of all of the brouhaha the last time I posted pics of the grille.

Kind of looks like your truck has a ski mask on Kert. Lol, it's the muscle guy in the bank crew.

I dig the riveted stuff.

The hood accents remind me of an SR71 for some reason.

Seems pretty straight forward to plumb in some cutting brake solenoids however, the brake line tee presents some what of an issue. If you use a 3/16" brake line tee, you end up restricting your brake fluid down to the flow of one 3/16" brake line. Seems kinda dumb really. If you use a 1/4" brake line tee, then you end up running 1/4" brake line much further than you really need to. I suppose after that you could get some type of adapter fitting to reduce from 1/4" to 3/16" brake line. It seems so much more normal to make the transition at the tee. I ended up removing the 3/16" brake line fitting and putting on a special fitting that has a 1/4" brake line thread with the smaller 3/16" brake line bore. Then of course used the 1/4" tee. This way the brake line flow is consistent throughout the system.

I think the next step is to get the hydraulic assist lines finished up. Might have to move the radiator up to make that work out right. The wifey is going to make me some playdoh to make that more of an exact science.

You should have heard her when I asked her to make me some playdoh.
