80's short box, "S.E.R.E." Box permanently attached to the cab.

I think if somebody wanted to use the LED headlights like the single I purchased, you could graft some headlight buckets in and make it work.

I've decided to skip the whole LED thing. Couple the mods that'd be required, along with the limited availability for replacement purposes, I'm feeling its not worth it.

That being said, I can finish making up brackets for the turn signals and get the grill put together.

Once that's done it's on to the bumper. I picturing plate center mounting with a winch and tubular outers.

We made a test piece to try the die set we made. This rolled slot will be the holes in the grill.

Got the regular old sealed beam headlights put in and got the LED turn signals installed.

Next up is the grill and bumper.

Seems like you've already decided to stick with the rectangular headlights, and it's on a Ford ... but I'm absolutely loving the GE LED's I popped onto my F100!

Think those are the same ones I put on mine, love them. Spendy, yeah, but sooo much nicer than halogen.

as it is it'll be one of the first vehicles on the road with brighter turn signals than headlights :D looks good like that

Maybe somewhere down the road, somebody will produce the right size of LED sealed beam that can be dropped in to these buckets.

The second LED turnsignal/marker light...In the grill design, there seemed to be a lot of blank space in the bottom corners. In 2d on the screen it looked better with a second marker. Hope that holds true to form in aluminum.

Looks sorta odd now. But I think once the grill and bumper are on it will look pretty good.

Only have what I see in my minds eye on this part of the build. Hopefully it pans out.

Damn near had the grill bolted on today

Fock in' tease ...

Well, its working out pretty good. Had to back track a little bit. Missed a measurement... Hey, it happens.

It is bowing the wrong way as we dimple all the slots. Can't remember how many there are but a lot.

The size of the grill is allowing us to bow it back the right direction as its bolted in place and then it becomes really rigid.

Should have no problem deflecting some pretty good hits.

Because the grille should be able to withstand small Toyotas flung at it? Damn, talk about over-engineering. [This from the guy who has an expanded steel mesh grille, albeit all of 16 gauge. Mine will only withstand hits from pigeons.]
