Hey,

I'm almost done with rewiring my truck, everything worked fine though it took some time due to my urge for perfection :dunno::laugh: but there are three problems left:

1.Got me a nos 81-83 fuse block and as I want to keep it original I need that annoying buzzer. I'm not quite sure where it is located and how it looks like so here's a pic of my fuse block and of a buzzer I googled...

Here's the buzzer

2 -3 . Next problem are the many accessories I have to plug into the fuse block and the fuel relay. I need to find the right place to attach the line to the realy. (ignition-hot wire).

I'm already thinking about a seperate fuse block for all the accessories, maybe that painless kit but maybe it'll work just fine with my gm block.

Thanks for your help n' greetings

Flo

ok, concerning my second and third problem ;-) The connectors from my 85 + power window harness will not fit into my fuse block, there's just room for 1 of the 4 connectors.

As far as I got it util now:

the fuse block provides a secured positive pole that gets power when I turn the key ("ingnition hot")

As consequence for my accessories fuse block plans:

I'll need a relay that switches power on to my universal fuse block when I turn the ignition key. As far as I got it the pink wire that goes out of the fuse block provides the "ignition hot".

I really more and more like that auxiliary fuse block option as it provides secure power for all my needs:

-pwr windows
-fuel pump relay
-maybe for my radio too

What do you think? Is my planning OK this far?
