82\' Diesel Blazer, changing tranny to SM465/205, what axle ratio ?

Am replacing the complete tranny assembly in my 82' K5 Diesel Blazer from a 700r4/208 to SM465/205 assy from a 79' 1/2 ton pick up. My only worry is that the engine is going to be screaming on the highway. I am running 31" tires and have no wish to go larger so I need to look at axle ratios, any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

If its 3.08 now, keep it that way, if its lower (higher numerically) then trade someone for some 3.08s, im sure plenty of people would be willing to get rid of them.
