Runs strong, needs rear brakes and tires soon. Mileage 117k. Straight body no rust. Everything works. I just don't know enough about these things.. Thanks!

It only matters if it's worth it to you. It doesn't sound like a ripoff or anything to me. Any good running, non-rusted 4x4 is going to be in that general ballpark. In case you are unaware though, most people consider the 6.2 to be kind of lacking in power. I have one in my pickup and like it, but you can't be in too much of a hurry to accelerate, and high speed cruising on grades may be an issue. Almost certainly no good for a mud machine, but in my opinion it's a fine motor for trails. Just my two cents.

Engine looks pretty. Banks is aftermarket. Fuel filter looks to have been replaced as well, which is a good thing since it always has to be done eventually, or at least the factory ones are prone to trouble. If you like it, I'd go for it. It looks like it was taken care of.

Guy said before I drive it off he wants to put in a new alternator and changeout the belts . Guy seems pretty honest... does banks add to price? 4k fair?

I think both of those are overpriced LOL

I think I would give about 3k tops for the blazer.

And virtually every cummins I see I think it overpriced by a whole lot.

If you are looking for a wheeler than the blazer is the better option.

With the banks kit on there if it runs good will feel like a strong small block but get 20 mpg on the highway

If it is a banks turbo kit then it is definitely worth it. Looks very clean and taken care of. That goes a lot torwards the price of a truck. I'd pay that price and the 6.2 isn't that bad especially with those upgrades on it. The mon rust factor is a big seller for me.

The get up seems like it's got a small block with the the banks installed. No Damn rust anywhere! I tried my best to find it! Body is so straight! Interior needs some work... How much for rear brakes? I don't have the stuff to do it myself. Maybe Ican get him to do it for the 4k.

Also, make sure that is a Banks "TURBO" kit and not an "INTAKE" kit. I can't tell from the pics. The Banks intake doesn't add any value but the turbo does (~$500-1000).

I would say decent deal for sure if it runs out good! You save money by not having to swap axles not having to spend time waiting for parts . The older I get my free time is worth more to me than saving a little money. I've got a 2k k5 that has cost 3k (motor trans brakes bearings wheels used tires various sheet metal)to get road worthy still need to finish my suspension which is coming in close to 1500. in parts (all top shelf componets) gonna spend another 12-1300 for new tires so eventually I'll have 8k in a rig that's still riding on 10 bolts and still needs paint and interior :haha:I would've rather started out with that and spent another 4k on it.....

Rear brakes should cost about a hundred bucks to get done. Thè parts are 25 bucks for the rear shoes if there's mothing else wrong in there. If it has leaks the price will go up. Drums can be turned if they are grooved. Usually 10-25 bucks depending on the shop.

It depends on which gas motor and the user. I would rather have the diesel because of the fuel economy. Other people shy away from them because they don't know the motor. The diesel should sell at a cheaper price than an otherwise equal gas model.
