Sorry for hijaking your thread to talk about eastern oregon... Just not alot of people know about it! Even fewer people are lucky enough to live out near there! If i could find work out there i would move out there in a second! Im up in Ukiah every year for the fireworks. Not last year but the year before i was one of the guys running around in the cage lighting them off!
No problem, we go elk hunting up above there by olive lake. Its a nice area up there, also go out above heppner a lot.

Heppner seems to be the place to be for elk these days...
Yah heppner unit did a bigger cougar hunt last year that really helped the elk population out.
Sometimes I look at what previous owners have done and just shake my head.
Changing spark plugs and there's 3 different plug numbers in there. 5 of them broke when I was taking them out. So now I have new plugs, with antisieze on the threads.
Got a better looking pickup tailgate on it. Mounted my roof top gun rack. Then it started raining.
