Selling a 84 chevy stepside silverado, black in color, some rust but nothing major. It has A/C, power windows and locks, and Tilt. This has been converted to 3/4 ton = dana 44 front, 14 bolt rear, with 4.10's. Has a 454 and a 465-205. It has a 4" all spring lift from Skyjacker (seems more like 6") with 35x12.5x16.5 Conti mud tracks (about half tread) mounted on hurricane rims. Also has a 40 gallon tank mounted in bed (nothing fancy) with electric fuel pump. Has a brand new clutch, dual exhaust, and battery. 3500.00 OR BEST REASONABLE OFFER ! NEED TO SELL TRYING TO BUY NEW PROJECT

I'll verify that it is a hydro clutch and that the air works tonight when I get some pics of it.

Yes this is a hydro clutch and completely new, new flywheel, clutch and and hydraulics. The air worked before the 454 swap was done, was told it needs a condenser and a compressor that will fit the 454. Has tilt with pulse wipers and cruise, but again cruise don't work yet due to 454 swap. Will get pics tomorrow.

how is the body?running condition of the motor?

Here's the news. The interior is black and in nice shape. The motor runs great. The body is in decent shape. Both rockers have holes but not rotted off. The cab corners are solid but starting to bubble and the bottom 1/3 of the drivers door is rusted with a hole in the bottom rear part. The floors are solid and so are the front and rear stepside fenders. The bed has the wood with slats. The slats are in good shape and the wood for the most part is solid but a couple of them are begining to get weak. Pics to follow in a little bit.

Used to be my truck & engine, so I'll add some more details...

Truck - could be a really cool truck with a little body work. Has the nice black Silverado interior, power everything, tilt, etc. How many lifted, 3/4 ton, big blocked, Silverado stepside shortbeds do you see around?

Engine - this is a pretty fresh "grunt-monster" big block. Built for my Jeep, which is off road only, and ran for two summers, so it's got low, low miles, then sold it to go into this truck which hasn't really been driven since. 454 bored .030 to 460 CID. I built it for big low end torque. All new - hypereutectic pistons, Crane torque cam, lifters, valves springs & locks, valve job, BC Engineering cam oiler (fixes the big block's tendency to eat lifters), oil pump, timing gears and chain, pushrods, Clevite 77 bearings, head bolts, etc.

'73 block, '67 427 closed chamber, oval port heads (torque /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif ) with light port cleanup, factory iron hi-rise Q-Jet intake, crank turned .010, re-sized rods, factory 9 qt. oil pan, old style M/T aluminum valve covers.
