84 crawler build

Looks good:waytogo: I'm curious as to what it looks like dry. I bought a gallon kit to re-do my topper, and i was wondering what the finish sheen will be? You know glossy, matte, etc. I'm sure you will be posting more pic's:D
Thanks..........Roger

Mine took the whole gallon to do just the cab area. I put it on as thick as possible though. I have noticed in a year and a half of driving this thing, my heel has worn through it where my foot pivots from gas to brake.

it stayed about a simi glass finish. im going to do a 2nd coat when i do the bed but it wont see any DD abuse since is just a wheeling rig.

Thanks fellers, next on the to do list is get my draglink and tie rod welded then install my ORD arms.

im semi close, need to get my steering welded, ps box fixed, brake work, axle out back together, drivelines made, roll cage in, seats in and some minor motor work.

so im broke but i got some parts to continue the build:

ORD steering arm
ORD drop pitman arm
SRW hubs (traded for my DRW hubs)
16 new lug studs
2 new rotors
new brake calipers
new brake pads
new wheel bearings
new wheel seals

The Fab shop should be done with my draglink and my tierod tomorrow. now i just need to swap sector shafts in my PS box, install my PS pump, and I should be able to steer her again. still need hubs but im one step closer. pics to come

I swaped the sector shafts in my ps boxes, it worked perfect, i installed my headers,my ORD steering arm and my pitman arm. I got my draglink on but it was a little to short. I had to turn the wheel back about 2" to get it to fit. Its not my 1st choice but hopefully it will still turn ok.

progress at last! got my SRW hubs and rotors on, cant decide yet to order brake calipers because mine are in really rough shape. I bought some brake lines from a member but they leak at both ends, not sure if its my hard lines are shot, my soft lines are shot or my calipers are shot. process of elimination i guess.

Ps one of my locking hub caps is broken, anyone have an extra? pic for ref.
