But it's 4 wheel drive :surepal: I want 2wd :p: :D :haha:

I do like the hood ornament though. :waytogo: kudos on that ;)

haven't checked it a while, but back when it was the family rig I know it got atleast 20 on the highway.

why 2wd?

Because 1/2 ton 2wd is the best ride you will get. Also just that little bit lower to the ground. Easier to get in and out of. And 4x4 isn't something I need I learned how to drive on an 89 crew dually w/ 454 tbi and 4.10 rear in the winter driving to school :yikes: so... 4x4 is just something I would like for a wheeling rig. all the parts in the 4x4 would make the truck heavier and also make more weight for the engine/trans to haul around. Lighter vehicles get just a little better milage. :D This rig is to be strictly a family/milage type vehicle. I have the 82 crew dually as a work type rig. :waytogo:

Amen to that. There isn't a bump in the road I don't know about when driving one of my 4x4s.

much apreciated. thanks bro. I am only parting this out as I have other priorities and will eventually find/build another crew dual for a bad bad hauler. ;) I just need to get my divorce taken care of that's #1 on the list. then #2 is building my house. I even sold my gooseneck in preparation for building this summer. :dunno: there just comes a point where you need to prioritize and focus :waytogo: I too am sad to see the parts go on the truck but it is for a higher purpose. Eventually to lead to house and garage of my own w/o payments. I should be finished (I hope anyway) with both house and garage and have septic system, driveway, well, and power/phone in there by next winter (not this coming but I do hope to have house up and closed in by this winter). :waytogo: And the best part is I will own it all and not be paying on it. Not too bad when I consider I am only turning 26 this october :D
