84 K10 "improved survivor"

After reading all the issues people have with the aftermarket efi systems, a stock system seems like the only thing I’d do. Less power but less tinkering too. Thats a beautiful pickup!

Believe it or not I am still having issues that feel like either MAP sensor or the tune getting lost. My 02 sensor is also stuck. I am going to try an ECM reflash, I have heard that can fix some things too. So that all being said I am confident I will never buy another fitech product. Disappointing because my cousin has the same unit on his 77 Dodge and his truck ran AWESOME right out of the box. The fitech HAS given me less trouble than the quadrajet and on the bright side it runs very strong for a 305. I will take a little bit of throttle lag over unending spark knock. But at this point I really wish I had spent another $200 or so on the Holley product. Edelbrock AVS2 also sounds like a good option for a carb. All I've ever wanted is for it to drive normal and 4 years later it still fights me. Hoping the reflash fixes it.
