Dug out some old pictures today. It's come a long way.

Just finished the weatherstrip on both doors and the manual regulator swap. Started the XJ shaft updgrade tonight . Will try to post pictures in the morning before work.

Looking good. What size lift and tires do you have? I like the proportions and the way yours looks.

At this point I may just dump the project and part out or sell it. Which royally sucks but funds just aren't there anymore.

my atv, lol. I really dont wanna ditch it but I lack the skill and funds to finish it. Plus it hasnt been running in two years or inspected since 2002. Plus the wife hates the, truck

Started the 350 swap, apparently the motor is going to give me some problems with the motor mount touching the header on the driver side, the oil pan from when i dropped the motor on the garage floor is going to have to be replaced with another oil pan that I had just waiting for this! and the crankshaft pulley and all the accesories of the 84 are going to have to be swapped over.:doah:

But on a positive note , i did score a factory air cleaner for free. Also installed my rear window with new weatherstrip with help from my father in law.

need to:
Connect the exhaust
rebuild carb
get a battery
bleed the brakes
windshield
install rear brakelines
bolt down the hood

dont give up on it! i have a blazer, but i would looooooove to have a shortbed, partly cause it has a bed. but i love the wheelbase (119" if i remember correctly) just keep poking at it when u can, looks good so far! also,do a lot of research so u do things the way u like the first time like..shackle flip instead of just lift springs, that sorta thing.

Update for the week:
Oil pan from 70s SBC installed along with gasket.
New motor out of 87 V30 is two bolt main and from older car/truck with centerbolt heads.
Headers installed with only motor mount issues, cleared shackles fine.
Poly motor mounts, transmission mounts, and poly body mounts installed.
