ok i just bought a 84 k10 suburban, it ran a drove ok then i put it n 4 lo and hit a mud hole whell i found out that the 4wd never engaged and i got stuck. 4wd would not work in any gear so i tried to rock it and then that didnt work so i hooked it up to a small truck and tried to pull it with somone in side the suburban. he had the burban in drive and was just on the gas and held it at about 3000-3500 rpm's spinnning the rear tires while i tried to pull it out. then we decided to leave and have somone come by later with a bigger truck to get it out. long story short we didnt get it pulled out and i came home and added some lucas oil trans additive and tried it agian. and no 3x3 and the trans does nothing. it never engages in any gear. it makes a small clicking noise if i put it in park from reverse slowly. it's not a grinding or clunking it's just a clicking. any ideas what could be wrong? it's a 700r4 and it has plenty of fluid please help me out im new to this 4x4 stuff so if you have any ideas please let me know. thanks in advance

Sounds like the chain is broke in the t-case.......
would that cause it not to move even when in 2hi? see i backed it up, put the trans in N and put the t case in 4lo and i never heard or listend for it to klunk. took off hit the hole and noticed it was not in 4wd. so i tried all the gears on the t case and still nothing just rear wheels spinning and then the front wheels acted like they wanted to move the just didnt. and then the 2wd went out. i hope im explaning this well. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HAPPEND
