Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.

Got her runnin!! Found one side of glow plugs not getting power thanks to the rats and the feed for the injection pump was ate off too. So some hose, a few hours and a but connector and it started.

Cool.

I just got popped a couple weeks ago for expired tags... Had to pay for 2 years to get out of my ticket. If I would have made it till the 1st of April I wouldn't have had to pay for last year. Lol so does that tell you what I think u should do??? Just make sure it's insured. That's where you get into big trouble.

I yea I know what you mean, I'm pretty good about that stuff actually. I am also good about getting around some of that too. I freaking thing th DMV system is a joke, a complete joke so I exploit it as much as possible. :)

So.. I still have no clutch and the linkage is connected?? could the throw-out be bad or the springs broken on the clutch?

So, this should mechanical linkage. Can you get a second set of eyes on the clutch fork/linkage when you step on and release the clutch pedal? Does it not engage, or is it that it won't release?

Ill have to either video it or have my wife step on the pedal. The symptom is the clutch wont release, I tried putting it into gear but it just grinds.

Hate to ask this because I don't want you to think I'm questioning your mechanical ability... But I had a friend that was a great mechanic and somehow in the mix of things put the disk in backwards and the clutch wouldn't release. Is this a possibility?

It is but the truck ran and drove when parked, other than that I have no idea. There is about 4 inches of pedal throw before any resistance.
