Look on the bright side, he isn't sticking an automatic in place of a real transmission.

Yep, use the dodge while you have to, then make the swap. There's your real Win/Win....Seems to me that Ethel should get the drive train out of the dodge. that dodge is a 2wd right?
Plus a ext long bed? What a gay truck. Just finish the blazer and then do the swap.
You guys are brutal!
So my Chevy love is a fling.. I got more Chevy in my blood that you do in your backyard!
My second truck was a dodge so I have a split alliance anyway!

I don't think that's the only "chronic" thing in his blood...The only people who care what you have in your blood are drug testers.
P.S. - if your BloodChevyLimit exceeds the ~1800 pounds that I have in my back yard, you are probably dead from chronic iron overdose.

With what time should I do this so called swap??
None of us have any time. But I will say this, I drove my truck all but 1 month while I was doing my SFA swap. Not saying a cummins swap is going to be the same. I'm just saying plan ahead and make it happen! With what time should I do this so called swap??

just close this thread to comments just make sure you change the title to wasted time.. and your last comment to epic fail....Yea.. can't do that. Too many irons in the fire.. as you might be able to tell.
when an 84k20 tow truggy crawler turns into a 92 dodge... i would have to respectfully disagree...I don't think it was an epic fail. You have to try new things to find out if you like them or not.
Lol.when an 84k20 tow truggy crawler turns into a 92 dodge... i would have to respectfully disagree...
You have to try a 6.2 diesel to find out that you don't like them
It's ok steve... I still think you're pretty neat. 1st gen dodges have a special place in my heart.... It's all about "built not bought" anyway. Before long the dodge will fit in that category too. We know you can't leave things alone.
