84 K20 "Ethel" Not an Sbc/NV4500/241C

Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.
Yeah I would just do a pump after the tank valve. Technically it should be as close to the tank as possible but you should be ok to move it up a few feet and have it "pull" the fuel a little farther since this isn't a high horsepower engine.

Ok perfect I kinda thought that would be ok, have you guys used the Facet pumps and had good luck?

How come? The factory mechanical pump is about as far away as you can get. :dunno:

I am not familiar with those pumps. I have only used the Carter style pumps like what an older Cummins runs. Some day when I build a fuel pump/filter setup for mine I will use a Carter I think and a Fleetguard filter setup. What are the pressure and flow specs for the pump you are looking at?

I need it to keep up with the turbo setup. I don't know what the flow capacity is of the facet pump but it's 5-6psi I think.

Yeah I have no idea either. The carter I googled said like 6-8 psi and 100 gph free flow. They work on dodge cummins turbo engines so should be ok I bet.
