Don't have good ones of the pass yet. I was just holding the phone under and clicking. Unfortunately I have no way to wash under it so it's got dirt and mud. Oh well.
Thought that was undercoating on the frame rail, but it appears to be old rubber maybe lol.

Well, Fock. Apparently between dirt , and excited new car eyes, I didn't catch some rot in the floors. :frown

It's not horrible, and is still better than 90% of G bodies in my area, but it is there.
Damnit.

Passenger side is the worst.

False.

90% of g bodys on the road in your area are nice hot rods that are nice and rust free.

And if there is a g body that's not someone's summertime cruiser then those cars are probably substantially worse.

What you have a good start for someone willing to invest the time.
Or another metric chassis destin for Farley or Maquoketa.....

Maybe buy it a fiberglass Monte SS nose now. Help the sale.....

:haha:

G-bodies are hard to find out west. Either total piles of crap for $10k or they have little 13" spoke wheels and hydros and scary fab. Once in a while you find a good stock one that isn't a POS but they still usually want way too much.

The more I put this together and it takes shape, the harder it gets to sell it lol.

I keep looking at it and thinking a bored BB and a 3k stall converter would be a friggin riot. :burnout:

But between the skid loader I got from my grandpa I want to rebuild, my burb, and the project of shortening my crew cab and building it's cage, .... I just don't have the time or space.

I told you in the PM that I would love to have it. I have 3 engines that could go in it. But I need to finish the 4.5 projects I have. And possibly, another one in the near future. Retirement is coming. I need planned projects. But I doubt I will finish all of them.

I apologize to my son frequently.

I gotta say, this one is friggin sweet. Needs about a 1.5"-2" drop in the front, but I love it.
Unfortunately it sits there all winter and is a daily all summer. So it'll have it's turn of rust im sure.

Mine has the T-type hood. And I know where to get a set of T-type wheels. If I was keeping it, or fixing it to drivable before selling, that's what I'd do.

It'll fit in my garage at home if I really wanted to. All that garage is is a glorified lawnmower shed. But I'd rather see it go.

Plus if it went to your place, we'd eventually work out a trade for parts or something, and you'd be right back to explaining another car acquisition lol.

Acquisition. I like that use of vocabulary.
Seems so much less invasive and less permanent then bought.

"Honey, I bought another a car"

Vs.

"Honey, I acquired another a car"

Maybe I should try a dry run this weekend??
That’s how I get most of mine. :D
