I found this burb 350 has dual battery set up only one in it now and an isolator has L,1,2,3 R for tranny. Said it pops out of third if you hit a bump. Has typical chevy cough at start up according to guy. It has the auto hubs on it.

So I know you can put an auto in by switching steering column and removing clutch pedal How hard of job can it be? :dunno:

Rear floor and spare area no visible rust. has split second row seat no third row.

I asked if he would trade my M31 and he said he had enough tubes that emit a projectile.

Can you put barn doors on a tailgated Burb? If so how hard is it? Thanks

Yes, I've done it to mine, and if I had it to do over, there's no way I would do it again! You have to actually change the rear bottom door sill. To do that requires some serious surgery with the body lifted off the frame. And I cannot ever get the doors adjusted so they close right, and the seals always leak.

I couldn't remember who had done it here. Thanks for posting. I am honestly thinking on trying to get this. If I don't some one here should buy it. I am thinking of it as a bug out vehicle since it has more room than blackie (87 K5) and it is a four door so easier for others to get in and out. Add a roof rack set up and mega haul for things.

Already thinking of window covers for the rear and other mods.

run, drive, 4wd? maybe a grand. 2 if no rust, or really low miles.

Said it pops out of third if you hit a bump. Has typical chevy cough at start up according to guy. It has the auto hubs on it.

Over 1k on odometer.

Why would you want an auto?

I 2nd that. When I was seriously debating getting a suburban, I didn't find one that was a manual so I was pretty bumed.

OBO price? No more than 800. They go for pretty cheap here, so I dunno what'll be like in your neck of the woods.

Only 1978 or older Suburbans were able to either have barn doors or tailgate, after that the body was made for one or the other, and as stated by TommyM, its a real nutcracker to try converting one with the gate to a barn door version, though it can be done..............................................................................................................................................................................................................I had wanted to put barn doors on my '85 and even found a pair at a local boneyard with the same paint scheme as the truck for 50 bucks too,I was pretty bummed out to learn they were no longer an easy bolt on swap like they used to be...GM did us no favors by making the bodies different....luckily the junkyard gave me a refund ,so I didn't have to sell the doors myself to recoup my 50 bucks!..Out here in rustville,a truck with a decent shell is worth a grand, and if it runs, drives and stops, its worth double that...I'd say 800 bucks would be a really good deal for that truck,if its not rotted--I'd just stick another SM465 in it and drive it,its enough of a job just replacing what they put there originally, though swapping an automatic in isn;t that difficult provided you have a donor truck for the parts it will require..steering colum, possibly driveshafts and crossmember,etc...its easier than putting a manual in place of an automatic,I've done both and neither was much "fun"...

I need to sell a steel tube that emits a projectile. But I have him down to $600 so if I can get the cash I am going to go for it! If not I will post it in the for sale section. Some one here should own this if I don't.

Why would you want an auto?

Easier to reload and expell projectiles for a steel tube while driving in a zombie SHTF..........

14ff rear?
:dunno: I'm a newb on that :doah:

That is the 10 bolt front it doesn't help. Manuals don't go out in a world where atf may be hard to come by (when the undead are chasing you). You can use motor oil or whatever. I would never consider a auto.

Opps me bad on it being the front I thought I took the rear. I'm tired today so me make a mends Tuesday with a rear pic I am going by it on way to mercantile.

Well frack! Truck is gone and I called the guy to see if sold. Story of my life.:doah:
