Hi,

I've got 2 new wiper nozzles for truck up to 84.... and I've no idea where I'll have to install them. I've got an 83 k5, here's a picture of one of the new nozzles. maybe it ain't the correct one for a k5 but why should be any difference between pickup and blazer nozzles?

Between the Windshield Glass and Hood,,
is the Removable Vent Piece for the Cowl ,(Cowl Grille Section)
mark position on glass and Remove Wiper Arms, locking tang under end lifts up to release,,
plusremove Screws on ends and front and top

>>>There should be some Perches or Little Tang's (Tabs of Metal) with holes already drliled,,
,in Grille section or Cab body Depepending on Year Model.

To mount them to under the Grille, >>using usaly 6 point headed
sheet metal screws and Speed Clip's
they stick up barely thru gill slots,

And the tubes can be bent to shoot higher if needed,,or lower if needed.

While you have it apart
clean all of the leaves and Dirt Accumalated from P.O. or Pine tree's
A Shop Vacumn will work,,or compressed air,,,( realy messy!!)
Use a Magnet to retrieve any previously
Lost Tools and Hardware,,

IF Some Thing Fall's down in to sides behind fenders
remove kick panels in the Interior,,
R N'R Fresh Air doors and Fish it out!
Shop Vacumn and Magnet helps here as as well !!!

Check for Rust and Kill it,
You should be able to run your hoses thru the Firewall Cowl Gromet
if they are not all ready still there,

Hey Mike,

thanks a lot for you adivce! If already disassembled the whole truck but I do not know where these f***** wiper nozzles are placed? My truck should be a 1983 and it should have some borings to install these nozzles. As I had the entire truck repainted, it could be that the borings are under the new paint and not visible anymore. Well, maybe I have to take some pics of the front of the truck, maybe somebody is able to show me where these nozzles have to be screwed on.
Thanks again and greetings from Germany

Florian
