85 GMC.....now 86 GMC

Nice you got it back.
Looks like it might need some cab bushings

Martin the other one was so far gone I scrapped the body and frame...it sucked but it was just to beat. In retrospect I should have never torn it apart to redo it, just left it as a beater and been done. This one will get paint and an engine.

That's a shame.

The pictures are gone. I don't remember it being that bad?

Ya I agree, fenders, hood, doors and bed were junk! Frame was bent and twisted. Pretty much was left with a cab. I didn't realize it till I had it torn apart how bad the frame was.

Parts collecting has begun:
NOS window track seals
NOS Grille
Cab mount bushings
Interior trim for the dash and door panels...LMC actually pretty decent stuff.
New Carpet kit from USA 1 Industries....I am told it is the correct maroon color...we'll see
Welds getting polished next week.
Need to pull the tranny and get it rebuilt next week.
Still need to figure out a motor....crate motor, rebuild a core....probably will rebuild a core.
Hopefully have it painted by the end of may.

I would have had to just drive it around the block on a bucket or something.
