14ff out of vans are about 3 inches wider than the SRW 14ff in the trucks. (don't know about widths on DRW trucks). The track width on the van axles is 70 in. and the track width on my 3/4 front axle is about 69 1/2. The difference between the van and truck widths isn't really a big deal I guess. I just think it looks better when the back sticks out as far as the front. My wife says I have some kind of mechanic induced OCD.

But doesnt going to a 14 ff give you the rear track width as the front? :dunno: just what Ive gathered. So a van width 14 would put it wider than the front. ???

Been awhile but I finally got some parts coming so I should have some good pics as soon as UPS gets here this week. Tranny and motor are finally gonna make it in the truck :D

Do yourself a favor, and notch that inspection plate so you can pull it off with the started still in place.

the pan drops down further than most stock pans I've seen. I'm gonna try a stock pan from the auto parts store and see where it lands me. If that doesn't work I'm gonna have to try either some kind of low clearance pan or get the big block crossmember.

I have the small block cross member and the diy motor mounts and my stock pan rubs on the cross member too
