85 K20, the little old ladys truck.

Also wouldn't mind finding a set of factory hubcaps for these steel wheels.

These guys should have what you need: https://lugnutguys.com/

Some less stupid lugnuts have been sourced, but I appreciate it.

DMI bumper removal is going about as expected.

Bet it would probably shift before 4k if this vacuum line going to the modulator actually went anywhere.

Good news is it pulls 19 inches of vacuum at idle, guess I'm still half decent at tuning a Holley off sound alone.

Today's activities.

Had these 2.5 inch Rough Country front springs as part of a whole lift I bought for the Blazer probably 4 or 5 years ago.

Hoped they would even out the front end, as the drivers side is about 5/8 of an inch lower than the passenger side. On the lift it sat perfectly even, but sitting under its own weight on the new springs it's still a little low in thar corner. Any suggestions?

Did some deeper looking into that drivers side shackle bushing.

Looks fine, feels fine, moves fine, loaded, unloaded, flexed, no strange movement.

Just put a custom thickness zero rate in that corner. I've got mismatched ones in the rear of my blazer to even out a half lean due to being in a hurry welding the spring hangers to the frame.

That's actually what I was thinking

Front end is level-ish, 1/2 inch of zero rate added to the drivers side, still a touch lower than the passenger, but it's far less noticeable.

I've also been going rounds with this Holley ever since I put it on here.

Had it running really good, nice quick starts, lots of power, smooth idle with 21 inches of vacuum, but it always seemed really rich. Smoke under load, exhaust burning your eyes, and 7-8 MPG.

Tried to lean it out at all, either with the mixture or the choke and it starts stumbling and missing.

Not really sure how to proceed.
