85 K30 Project

Any updates?

Nothing too interesting. It's a workhorse, spends most of it's days traveling to Menards for lumber and towing the backhoe around. It's been very reliable aside from rubbing a hole in one of the tranny cooler lines which I replaced with -6 AN.

I have yet to space the rear tires apart or alter the fuel tank, which I still need to do. :(

Current project is swapping a new GEP 6.5TD into the wife's tired (low oil pressure due to worn cam bearings, over 200k miles) Burb. Found the block was cracked so I just bought a new Optimizer, this thing tows across country and needs to be reliable. No laughing!! :D

I might do a basic rebuild on the old cracked 6.5. A friend owns a machine shop with dyno, might be run to thrash, if I could find a reasonable DB2-4911.
