I have decided to retire the unfinished Blazer project to strictly a mud bogger.* I can mud bog every weekend if I want.* I need to take looong weekends to really do any kind of trail riding.

Woke the beast from its 8 yr or so slumber.* Syphoned out the old gas and put in some new… fired right with a jump.* 40psi at idle.* Still runs like a champ.

It was sunk to the difs… completely flat and rotted rollers made it a pain to get out with the soft wet grass.* But, about 20 min with the ’04 Silverado and a little winch help… out it comes.

Axles are already on the trailer, same with the 5 ton rollers.* Different 8 lug rollers will go on tomorrow night to make it much easier to get on the trailer.

Wont be long now.

Out will come the Dana 60 and 14 bolt (reused elsewhere, stay tuned)
In will go the LMTV axles.

Out comes the 203-205-350 doubler setup (reused elsewhere probably)
In goes the Rockwell 223 and the 2wd TH400

Off come the 44s (already sold)
On go the 16.9R26s

Cant wait to get it finished up.

Motor is a BBC 468.

Cage is already done.

That’s it for now.

Now why would I start parting a good, complete set of axles.

If not for the 4.88s id be interested in the rear depending on how good of shape. But you prolly wouldnt wanna split the set up anyway.

On another note im stoked to see this thing in action!:D

You gonna bring it up to silver lake?

Definately not splitting or parting. More than likely they will go under the trail rig Tracker. Unless someone waves enough cash to make it worth it.

Doubt I will bring it to Silver Lake. The tow rig will be much more fun there. Just need to find a pair of 8 lug paddles to barrow. 98 Cummins Ram with some goodies.

Awesome! I want a big group to come up some weekend next summer. Be cool to have a big ck5 dune run.

Always wondered what you were doing with those axles.
