85 K5 Build (What to do this summer...)

Been busy with school for the last couple months but have been trying to decide how to upgrade my brakes. Has anyone tried switching to 3/4 ton calipers in front. Also my master blows bubbles when depressing the brake pedal, do I need a new master?

There isn’t a lot of difference between 1/2 and 3/4 ton calipers.

I'm out of school for summer, and have been trying to decide on what projects I want tackle this summer. Headers and exhaust is a must, and the rear end needs to be rebuilt. I have a pretty decent oil leak coming from the pan, and a water leak from the water pump as well. I'm thinking I will rebuild and truss the rear end so I can build a traction bar. While I have the rear axle out I would like to do a rear disc brake conversion. If all of this goes quick then I'm thinking of building a 350 I have laying around. Nothing too crazy but just something to give the truck some new life. I'm thinking:
Vortec Heads
New Intake
Cam

Trying to decide between buying this kit or doing something completely from scratch. Anyone had good luck with this kit?

That doesn't look like a bad price for all of that. I need to do a traction bar also before my 64" springs start hating life.

That’s what I was thinking. All those bushings come out to be more expensive than the kit

A kit is so much nicer to work with. Time is money there.

If I were you I would put the leaks as one of the more important items to fix
