I tried to tackle the exhaust smell with the back window down problem that we all have. The stock tail pipe ran out the drivers side behind the rear tire. The best thing I found to do was extended the tail pipe about 10 feet off the blazer. Since that's not functional I cut the tail pipe back as far as I could to the hanger and put a turndown on it with a clamp. It's not perfect but it defiantly helps. And for $10 it didn't hurt. I picked up all the parts at Oriellys

I was able to stop by a junk yard and pick up a XJ steering shaft on my to the shop yesterday. As soon as I got there I put a few welds on it and now she's ready to go. I will post pictures once she's installed.

The wife is going home to Michigan this week. Hopefully I can get my spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor installed this weekend. Hoping to do rear u-joints too.
