for reasons i'm going to try not to mention, the end of my '85 column is taken apart. the problem i'm having is getting the ign. cylinder gear teeth lined up, and i can't seem to do it. i'm either 1 tooth in front, behind or way the 'f' off! can anyone shed some light on this subject?
clarification, the lock cyl will either want to start the truck off of 'lock', or won't be able to travel far enough and hit it's stop with the glow plugs stll running.
does this truck have an acc mode where you turn the key back? i don't think the lock cylinder is provisioned for it...
