I'm not sweeping up one blown up donut this time. You blow it up, you sweep it up!:D

I'll sweep the sh!t outta them donuts.

Adam is coming too...he likes a good hard wooden broom handle!

Thanks!

Been hard to find time to work on it lately. Got a lot of bumpers and tube doors going through the shop as well as the day to day orders. Kinda hectic lately. Hope to find some time this Sunday to do a little more work on her.

I had a day to work on Stompers rig and i'll be damned if I wasn't short a part on just about every project I wanted to get into.

Ended up getting into the full hydro steering. Seems that project is holding up final seat mounting and the finish work on the dash. All I was able to get done today was the firewall mount for the orbitrol.

I still think he should keep Kerry's hood on it too!

Got the steering column mocked up yesterday.

Now we can refit the seats and get that finalized. Only change we will make to the column from hear on out is the length and angle.

There really is no room in a standard cab pickup with a cage. That is all.

right, I remember you crawlin around in there....Brett and I are like...."no fokin way"

I forgot you were there for that!

Quite a bit different than a blazer or suburban when you start talking about cages and seats and the like. Floor is so much higher as well from the fuel tank bumps.

Exo cage would make some things easier. On the other hand, Our old school chevy aint actually slender to begin with. Funny isn't it. They're fat but there is no room....

Here's a shot of the inverted "Y" that replaced the "X" brace.

Curious to why you chose this instead of a x brace would this be stronger or was it simply for room or ease of install?

Loving all my products from you and this shaping up to be my fav build on ck5
awesome work

talked with Kert the other day, its for headroom, Brett has a big noggin'!

That turned out bitchin Kert...I was thinking a single down bar splitting in two!

I like that a lot better. A lot of cages make my head hurt looking at them.

Martin

You might be able to mount the seats a little further back with the "Y" brace as well :waytogo:
