'85 on big tars.(pics & video)

On another note.

I can figure out how to wire up the turn signals with one flasher unit but how does one wire up the turn signals and break lights so that the break light doesn't light up on the side the turn signal is lit?

Anybody have a simple diagram that is not a factory diagram?

Well, the problem with the hose has been sorted out. I couldn't find a single hydraulic hose fitting that would work in the back of the dodge pump.

So, to shoot straight through the issue, I purchased a male JIC-6. Knocked the plating off of it and tigged it to the fitting that goes into the back of the pump.

Chopped the inverted flare fitting off the hydraulic hose and crimped on the female JIC-6.

Hose threads on real nice now and all hoses have commonly available ends.

Done!

The following have all gotten a good start.

Wire all sending units
Throttle cable.
Wire monitor and cameras
Fuel shut off
CB radio mount and wiring
Switch panel B wiring

Sorry I'm not up to speed on what you have for lights, but can you use a 7-wire to 4-wire trailer adapter? I got one from TSC for about $12 and it uses the 2 filaments to accomplish tail, brake and turn, while each has it's own wire on the truck.

Hadn't even considered it. I'll look into it though. Thanks for the tip.

Stolen from the book of faces, steering res.

Yeah, I haven't made much progress lately. Gotten pretty swamped at the shop over the last 2-3 weeks. So damn tired every night. All of a sudden I have a lot of the locals bringing in projects that have added to the pile of work.

Hoping to knock a few off the list tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

I figured you always got busy when tax returns started coming in.

I figured you always got busy when tax returns started coming in.

Yep, we do. Seems this year there is a extra sense of hectic. I think its the products we've added to the website and a lot of jobs around the shop that aren't getting done.

It's all good. We'll find a day here or there to get the things that need gettin'.

Been getting a few things done here and there.

Here is the list as it stands today.

I'm going to have to rebuild the column cover for the aluminum dash. The standard one has a clearance issue with our steering column bearing and our start buttons.

Alternator wiring
CB power wires (missing the plug that makes the connection at the back of the CB. Anybody got one?)
Wire monitor and cameras ALMOST (1 camera left but can't do it yet.)
Rock light install and wiring ALMOST (passenger side lights need to be hooked up.)
Rear Stop, tail and turn including markers (Need a couple lights and a resistor to make the flashers work with LED's)
Hand throttle
Air compressor mounting and plumbing
Front driveshaft
Belly skid

Tube doors
turbo intercooler
hood

You should be able to pick up a "heavy duty" flasher that's designed to work with a trailer attached. They aren't dependent on load like a standard flasher and should work just fine with LEDs.

So far we have no flash. I'll see if my parts guy has a flasher designed for LED's.

I'll look around online for the CB plug.
