'85 on big tars.(pics & video)

On the verge of completion:

Brake bleeding / ran out of fluid

Air compressor / minor hosiery

Pyrometer

And its out of the shop, just need a pic of it climbing the shop wall now!...:pimp:

We killed the power steering pump tonight. Fixed one thing and broke another.

Easy to tell we are in the finishing stages. So tedious sometimes.

Steering is back together and working. The previous pump we hot rodded pretty significantly.

Lasted about 10 minutes.

This one we left stock and it seems OK. I think a little more pressure would be nice but really need to drive it around a bit first.

Got a couple more little details we're gona try and knock off the list yet this week.

Next week I think we'll be tacklin' the hood and intercooler.

Does anybody have the alternator part number that has the mysterious "W" terminal?

This is the externally regulated Dodge alternator. 1992 or 1993.

My parts supplier doesn't have any information relating to the W terminal for tach hook up.

what a milestone...its been many years in the making! Want to see some vids!!!!

Got a couple short ones, backing out of the shop and driving back in. That's all we moved it today. Just a quick test and needed to move some things around in front of it, so it worked out that way.

Cummins engines must be hermaphroditic.

Start feeding this one some diesel and now theres another Cummins 6BT sitting behind it.

Yeah and totally badass too
Going to start another build thread?

Well, don't know if I'd call this one badass. It's a job.

DIY4X was hired to do another 6BT swap. Had a guy walk into the shop last week and was so geeked about Stomper's truck, looked at the cummins that is going in my frame up build and decided he had to have one in his 1995 Ford.

Sounds like a good problem to have

On board air system is pretty much complete. Save a few adapter fittings to go from a ridiculous 5mm air line with a british pipe thread back to standard NPT stuff. All the pieces have been ordered but nothing is showing up.

And really, 5mm. British pipe thread!

I have an ARB solenoid with BPT, drove me nuts as it's almost NPT, but just enough off in thread density to not fit. McMaster at least had fittings to adapt them to NPT.

Whatcha doing that uses metric line?
