Well i worked on the bed some more today and got it just about done. I am still need to add a couple braces and I will fill in the end where I cut it off later on. Also I took a chain and ratchet binder and was able to suck that cross member down on the front so I will be fixing that tomorrow as well as mounting the winch, bend a stinger, and finish up the bed. Also I dont know if it will be noticable or not but the rear axle is pushed over to the driver side quite a bit so it may look funny in the pics. I am gonna adjust the trac-bar tomorrow to center it up.

Rough edges?? My truck doesnt have rough edges!!! LOL yeah maybe when I put something on the ends where I cut the bed off.

Well today I took the truck up to a friend shop and used his welder to finish up some stuff. I got the winch mounted up, bent up a stinger, and also rewelded and braced up the front crossmember. For a front winch mount my buddy said he has a winch mount for a jeep in stock that was flat that i could just weld right on. Well we got to looking at what they had in stock and all he had was a warn winch mount for aTJ. So I got to looking at it and I had to modify the bottom a little bit to get it flat but I managed to and then just welded it on.
When I got back to the house I backed the truck up on the trailer to see if it would hit the bed. The shock had about 2 more inches of up travel so it is gonna be close. I will flex it out int he ditch this week and make sure it clears.

looks pretty good. When I see your truck I just think about driving it to a car show and parking it next to some 55 chevy just to mess with people

are you going to put some kind of grill back in place? or leave it as is? looks good though...wish i had some rocks and that kind of flex

The grill I had in it broke last trip out. I may try to put something there if i can find another one cheap but probably not.

Yes it is. Thats one of the main reasons why there are no inner fenders. 454 in closed quarters and barely moving doesnt let much air in.
