'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Are you pretending to be a policeman? :screwy:

These are the pods I picked up for really cheap.
How does the pod compare in brightness to the old halogens?

If the battery they were hooked up to were fully charged, they are brighter than all 4 halogens.

Is it running?
I have officially lost all motivation.

Today we actually hit 100*. Hottest day so far this year.

It’s like my injectors aren’t responding. Runs for 1.5 seconds with a shot of ether. If tbi injectors weren’t firing, where would you start?

I'd start by checking ground straps.

So you have fuel pressure at the injectors and it runs perfectly on ether? Did you change anything that might have affected fuel timing? ECM wiring? Did you check all your connectors? Put the ohmmeter across the injector terminals?

I didn’t think about checking the terminals.
I sent you my number awhile back...
lol I forgot.

Is there gas in it?

Did you happen to block off the fuel flow and forget to on block?

Worked with Mark for a little while last night doing some daig. Not getting any voltage to the injectors. Chased wiring for a little bit last night, and didn't come up with anything then the storms rolled in.

My guess is to start retracing the wiring and stuff you messed with since apparently this is a self induced issue. Like a wire you accidentally didn't hook up or hooked to the wrong thing. Possibly like a power or ground for your fuel injection puter.

It's got to be something along this line. I swear I didn't mess with anything for the EFI, but obiously that's not the case. Like I said to my wife last night, once I find the issue I'm sure it'll be a stupid one.

I think you cleaned up a wire that down the line went to the ECM
