'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Well, since my other project flopped tonight I had a little time to work on this till the storms rolled in.

Got the line built from the filter to the tank. Drilled a hole in the floor and made my own grommet.

Relay, I have it...

Alternate wheels are 24 bolts. Called the guy that built my brother's spacers, and having him machine some for me. Then I need to call trail worthy for some inserts.

Speaking in H1 double beadlock terms. Referring to the amount of bolts that hold the two wheel halves together. The more bolts, the more clamping force. My wheel was spinning inside my tire at one point.

But I have the 24 bolts already. And I've been wanting to run them. They also look better.

Back of the intake is still leaking oil, so that is at the top of the list right now. Along with the fans.

The good news from the trip is, I never once had a fuel pump issue. There were a couple downhill descents that were just a tad noisy, but overall the pump sounded much better.

I still need to spend some time with the tune, as it kept randomly loading up and running rich. Also 3/4 throttle under load was still quite a bit rich also. Some quality time with the lap top should help iron that all out.

I was confused about the submarines and unicorns.

Didn't seem like normal conversation material. :dunno:

Ah, Martin (until last weekend) was as mythical as a unicorn. We weren't sure if he really existed. As for the submarine part, you can figure that one out for yourself quite easily.

Ok. Well, unicorns are happy and light and fluffy and rainbowy.

Martin really doesn't fit the description. :haha:

Well, except the fluffy part. And, he's not grumpy like Ebke. So I'd even say he's happy. Now rainbows, I'm not even going to mess with that, in fear that my arse would be whooped. So i'll say 2 out of 3 would classify him as a unicorn.
