'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
Well, except the fluffy part. And, he's not grumpy like Ebke. So I'd even say he's happy. Now rainbows, I'm not even going to mess with that, in fear that my arse would be whooped. So i'll say 2 out of 3 would classify him as a unicorn.
I am not grouchy, you just don't know me yet. This is about as happy as I can remember bring.

Ah, Martin (until last weekend) was as mythical as a unicorn. We weren't sure if he really existed. As for the submarine part, you can figure that one out for yourself quite easily.
Well I once met him! So I " believe" that he is real, or I was lied to!!
I hope that I haven't used the Colorado wacky tabacky!!
Either way, Martin is cool! !!

He's usually right when he picks them too.

As for my jimmy, I moved it today. Getting moved to the grassy parking spot. As my diesel needs work again. I will update that thread in a bit.

Eventually I will get some better tires for them, in hopes of taking it on a little bit longer trips. We'll see....

Those very well could ride worse than your Intercos on the road right? Rims are worth $50 either way....

OH, I'm sure they will be rough. But remember. My H1's have a rebar reinforced lip. Those don't balance very well. Plus, my SX's are getting old. Takes a while for them to get round again hahaha. And the last note, these 36's don't leak. That's a plus in my book.

good point about the H1's. Do you run beads in them?

No, I don't usually get above 35mph with them. But the last couple trips, I drove from the campsite to do the wheelin and it calls for higher speeds. So I really need to try some.

Yes, I have some 24 bolts. I need to run dually spacers, or recenter them. And get PVC inserts.

they're worth the effort.

Mine are radials but I can run them up to 65mph no problem.

Just throw a bunch of BB's in them...I have the same amount of BB's in my 44" boggers right now as I did in my old 38.5" SX's and it makes a big difference...and you can't really throw too many in there...just keep dumping them in until they are smooth :D. I think I could get my boggers up to 50 mph or so right now without any vids...my only limited factor is I have drive flanges in the front, so being locked in the front all the time hurts it.

My brother with his semi on 46" military tires threw about 5000 airsoft BB's in each tire and has had it up to 75 mph and it's smooth as butter :saweet:
