'86 Jimmy 4in Lift, 40’s, tons, 8.1 Swap- 700r4 said PNNNNN

This is not a dedicated trail rig, but does trailer to the destination usually. I am currently in the planning phase of doing a 52/56" spring swap, and getting back to being more road worthy.
The pictures suck, but I’ll still post it.

Old fuel hard line out. New 8AN line in. Had to rob the 8AN-6an adapter off of the TB so I could properly secure the line to the fuel filter. So now I get to run and the same adapter up top. But other than that the fuel line is done.

Now back to your regular schedule wiring program.

It’s doesnt look like much, but I worked for about 7hrs on fuel lines, wiring, and vacuum lines today. Fuel line is done minus the adapter I robbed for the fuel filter. Wiring is much better and organized. Still need to secure all the extra wiring from the harness that’s inside the cab, but it’s all there and connected. Vacuum is all done. All things that require vacuum have there own port. No more T’s. Still need to figure out which wires go to what gauges and my new power probe should help with that.

Broke people have broke ways. This kept me out of the sun and kept a steady breeze to cool me down. Today was mid 90’s with 100*+ heat index.

Powered the pink wire with the probe and the fuel gauge moved, so I know my wiring is good to the gauge. Any ideas how to wires these up so my fuel gauge will work? The other two wires are from the fuel cell sending unit. One green and one white/yellow.

I am somewhat jealous of you schmucks .
My junk is at work , and I didn't get to do anything with it today. I don't want to be there today, and be on the clock tomorrow.

Kind of guessing here but green and pink make the loop between the gauge and sender and the other is a ground?

Tonight is the wife’s night out. So the boys joined me with K5 work. With a power probe and a 5 yr old eager to see something move on the dash, we found the wiring to a couple of the gauges. Threw some tape for labeling until I can get out there to wire them up. For some reason 2 different wires moved the oil pressure gauge. Then when I went back, only one did. So I labeled the possible fake wire as “oil 2”. The “UK” stands for unknown. Alternator already works, and fuel gauge is obviously figured out. I’m excited about having real working gauges.

Also fuel line is done. Adapter in place and ready to be pressurized.

Anyone know what a factory coolant temp and oil pressure sensors look like? I’d like to get rid of my oil line going into the cab.
