86 jimmy-Bakers build

Picked up hydraulic clutch pedal assembly, hydro bell housing, and firewall cut for template, debating on picking up the sm465/208 combo and driveshafts too. Should be getting my 454 on a stand soon and tearing it apart to check it out only has 80k on it but sat of 7 years

Well picked up a almost new b-52 front hangers, and ordered diy4x front shackle eye hangers, and comp motor mounts. I got my 454 almost all buttoned up

I also picked up a new DD/ tow rig 93 c3500 Crew cab long box dually from Las Vegas. Rocking a TBI 454 with 4l80e and 4:10 gears. I picked up a edelbrock performer tbi intake for it and will be getting a throttle body spacer and prolly bump up fuel pressure to try to get better than 11mpg with it.

I've been tossing around the idea of either lowering my 84 c10 or the dually....

Been looking around for a square body for my brother so he can go wheeling, went and check led out a m1009 today in Luther, slowly getting more and more parts for k5 hoping to start working on it soon, my cousin finally has his cummins and straight axle swapped 94 k3500 running, so should have some garage time soon.

Took the Stupid looking tall hold downs off the 454 and got a starter bolted on, just gotta get headers or some manifolds for it, been thinking I should get a TNA or ORD engine crossmember

Well haven't updated in a while I ended up selling the dually and got a 97 dodge 2500 4x4 with a cummins

And I sold the 84 c10 and bought a 1967 chevelle from Texas

So I've had my hands full with those 2 the last few months, installed gauges on dodge and played with fuel pump a lil. And have been traveling around gathering parts for the chevelle.

I recently dug the jimmy out and installed the other th400 And cooler I had. I was gonna put the np208 back on for now only to find out its a 27 spline, and the th400 I had in the jimmy has a 27 spline out put. So long story short I installed a fixed yoke np205 and had to get a 1330 cv yoke and new driveshaft. Which brought me to a new dilemma. The jimmy drove funny last time I went wheelin, rear felt like it was trying to push front, I pulled front diff cover and found out I have 456 gears in front and 410 in rear. I searched craigslist and found 456 rear gears but found out I need a 456 carrier too. [emoji53] I searched some more and found a guy in kzoo with Yukon 488 gears. Front for 456 carrier and rear for 410 Carrier. I got them for 300 bucks and there new. So I'll be installing them soon. [emoji106]

Love the 67...sure wish I would have kept my 66.
You got a lot going on with your projects...more done in one year than I've got done in 4!

I feel like I'm working slow only get a couple hours a week to work on my own stuff. Hoping to get to the dunes in the next couple weeks

Well got the jimmy's axles torn apart and some install kits hoping to get the gear installed next week, I installed some diy4x comp mounts, only to find out my engine frame mounts are big block/diesel (taller?) vs small block (smaller) I didn't even kno frame mounts were different. so they didn't fit right, prolly gonna end up buying a TnA engine crossmember. I also decided I've put up with the stock style diesel exhaust that I spliced into and cut it off. Gonna make some new pipes at work.

The motor mounts bolted to frame were too wide (moved up) to bolt to motor, the holes didn't line up on the bottom bolt holes on frame. My stock motor mounts were wasted, so they must of had enough play to moved down to bolt to my small block. The jimmy was originally a diesel. I was told diesel/ big block frame pads where clamshell mounts bolt are taller. I'm just gonna buy a TnA engine crossmember to solve this problem

Well got ,my TnA engine crossmember. Got it all cleaned up and painted to match my other parts, this thing is awesome so glad I bought it. I got my 4:88 pinion gears both set up, I went to put carrier in the Dana 60 and app entry the Yukon gears were boxed wrong, the front is thick cut for 4:10 carrier, so I ended up getting a new take out from Weller auto parts for $100 thought that was a deal. Now I just need to make a couple set-up bearings for it. The 14 bolt should be together Monday I'm hoping. Gonna prolly try to find some cheap bearings to modify into set up bearing on Tuesday, then I can start to put the new crossmember in. And I have to redo the exhaust. Hoping to get this thing done to at least make one trip to silver lake before they close for season.

I'm also debating on buying a diy4x rear shock inboarding kit, and crossover steering from diy or ord? What you guys think.
