Yeah...so I just figured out what that rubbing noise was...it isn't the 36's on stock 16.5" wheels rubbing the fenders...it's the d-side tire slowly dismembering the draglink at the front every time I turn sharply to the right...whoops...retroactive blonde moment...for 9 months...

There's no easy way to fix this considering I don't feel like investing in different rims with less backspacing that would push the tires out from under the fenders...

Can crossover setups be done on a stock height truck?
Are there any clearance issues with stock backspacing wheels and crossover?

Thoughts?

Who's got the best stuff?

If you would like a friend is selling a ord high steer. new never used. i can find out

Crossover and high steer?

I'd be interested. PM me with the details and such.:cool1:

Anybody got any thoughts on this?

I read somewhere (maybe ORD's page) that crossover requires a minimum amount of lift. Seems like it was 3~4".

I sent an email to them about it on Friday night but I figure with the holiday and all it will be a few days at the minimum before I hear back.

Just wondering if anyone on here has experience with this and any thoughts.

Do these things have adjustable steering stops? It only rubs at the end of the turn arc...just a bit less to the right and this wouldn't happen.:tongue1:

Yes there is an adjustable steering stop on your knuckles.

Can you explain how to work them a bit? I'm sorta a GM noob again and haven't had a SFA truck since that POS Ram 4 years ago...SFA GM in over 10 years...

There is a screw with a rounded type head that screws into the knuckle. If your turning radius is too far then you'll need to adjust the screw out so that it limits the travel of the knuckle. Before you go adjusting it though you need to make sure that your steering is centered.
