\'87 1 ton Blazer NO LONGER FOR SALE

I'm putting my blazer up for sale so I can have something better suited for my current needs. I would be willing to trade for clean, nice 4WD pickup.

1987 Chevy Blazer.

Axles:

14 Bolt van fullfloater rear
4.10 gear ratio
Detroit locker
Blue Torch Fab diff cover
Set up for inboard shocks
Trusty built spring perches at correct angles

Dana 60 frontend
Open differential
Blue Torch fabworks cover

Engine:

Rebuilt with approx 300 hp. I do not have exact specs on this as it was built before I bought the truck from BlazerBoy of this forum.
New starter
New alternator
New dual batteries
Taurus electrical fan with thermostat and wiring
3" Exhaust with Y pipe, 50 series delta flow, and manifolds, tucked in tight for 4x4ing

Drivetrain:

NP465 transmission with manual clutch
NP205 transfer case
Stock driveshafts
Drivetrain has some vibration at this time. Will fix before sale or discount an appropriate amount.

Suspension:

4" front Procomp springs
Rear echobit shackle flip with '91 springs
1/2" lift from new spring pads
3" body lift
35x12.5x15 MTR's at 50% tread and spare
15x8 4.25 offset Black rockcrawlers

Interior:

Interior is completely rhino lined
CO2 tanks for on board air
Vaccuum gauge
Late model seats on custom brackets
AM/FM/CD player with 6x9s mounted behind seats
Cobra 25 with Wilson 1000 ant.
Besttop soft top

The bad:

Speedo doesnt work
Passenger side window doesnt roll down
The body is hammered from 4 wheeling
Rusted body panels are starting to show
Unidentified short in wiring

Extra parts:

Vinyl rear seat
Manual window cranks and hardware
100' of 1.75 x .120 HREW tubing for cage, bumpers, tube front clip, or whatever
2 pieces of 3x6 rect tubing .188 wall suitable for bumpers or sliders
NIB ORD 1" body lift
This truck has been my daily driver for a year now, but my commute is about to become a lot longer and I need a pickup to haul stuff since I'm buying a house. Lots of $$$$$$ into this thing, and a good platform for a trail truck!

Buying a house and have other priorities right now. I'll build another one in a couple years, but for now, I lack both time and money. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: \'87 1 ton Blazer F/S or Trade

where are ya'll looking at living at....if your commute is gonna be farther than you planned?

Re: \'87 1 ton Blazer F/S or Trade

we're looking as far out as whitesboro, and as close in as howe and pottsboro. Don't really want to live in Sher/Den.

Re: \'87 1 ton Blazer F/S or Trade

New lower price.

Changed the ujoints and vibration went away. Been having a little difficulty with electrical system though. Should get that worked out. Someone shoot me an offer here or I might part out. I would also trade for a reg cab 4x4 pickup in good shape.

The bank said come awn so I went home and told the wife I was getting a loan for $3500. She got all excited about us finally replaceing the roof /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif I'm a little crazy, but I wasn't NEAR stupid enough to say otherwise /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Sorry dude, wife wins out again. I had already gotten that thing parted out in my head and where the parts were going /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Are you back in Texas yet?

There's a guy up here that was selling a 3/4 ton 4x4 diesel, about an 83 model for $800. Not a REAL nice truck, but a good starter that, for a little change would make a pretty nice all purpose truck. Something to think about.

Re: \'87 1 ton Blazer F/S or Trade LOWER PRICE $3250 Come get it.

Thanks for the info Kyle. I'll keep it in mind. We're going in to make an offer on a house today, so we'll see how much cash is left after all that goes down. And if you know anyone that needs a K5, it's still up on the chopping block /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

However, if I end up not NEEDING to sell it, I'll prob wait to part it out and keep the 1 tonners for the next rig....so if anyone wants it, come awn!!! It's ready for the right buyer!

$3000. I need the cash.

If it's not gone by the end of the weekend, I'm going to start parting it out.
