Every time I hit the brakes the front running lights come on. If the truck is off and brakes are applied the dash lights come on and the buzzer indicator chimes.

Checked bulbs, replaced headlight switch, pulled column apart to look for a short, traced wires...

I'm lost. This happened after driving through deep rain water.

Any ideas?

I would start by removing and cleaning EVERY ground wire for the lights at all four corners of the truck and go from there.....:thumb:

bad grounds trip up many people when looking for electrical problems..

Agreed, it's cheating a ground through something else right now...

friends truck had turn signal feedback with tail lights on . we traced it down to a missing ground tab in 1 of the sockets that contacts the bulb socket body to make it a complete cirkit.

we got a good used socket at the local pick-n-pull and were good to go .

This thing will do it even with all of the bulbs out. Hit the brake and dash lights and buzzer come on. I've cleaned three grounds. One on the passenger side radiator support, and the ones on each tail light and the one on the firewall.
