Hey guys, I'm looking for a piece of interior door trim for my 87 K5 Blazer. It's the long chrome strip that hides the join between the bottom of the door panel and the top of the carpeted panel below that. I've tried LMC Truck and Classic Industries but neither seem to have it. I'd like to buy a new one if possible. Thanks in advance.

the chrome piece on the door right there? or on the bottom of the door jamb that chrome piece?

Ye, that bottom piece that runs the length of the door, dividing the carpet section from the plastic door panel.

Somebody should have something for ya, most likely a member on this site. Buy your membership, best 25.00 bones you will spend on your rig. That will give you access to all the other forums. Sounds like you are trying to stay original with your trim piece, which is cool. I chose the Diamond plate for mine, i know it's not for everyone but i like it. Good luck!

It's not the piece with the strap handle on it, it's the thin long piece closer to the bottom of the door that I'm looking for.

Just run and grab one at a junk yard, then polish it up real good. Mine are original, and I just polished mine out. I thought they looked good enough.

I'd rather get a new one, but if I can't source one I might just have to do that. Surely somewhere sells them though?

I looked everywhere for them several years ago and could not find any. Had to polish mine and reuse them.

Even used the old plastic vents in the carpet because the ones form ACC didn't match the factory ones.

The driver side one was missing from mine when I bought my truck......oh well, I'll get one eventually I guess.

They just have flimsy tabs on the back that will break real easy if you are not careful. Just keep looking for a good used one.
